3 cups crushed fruit
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 quart half-n-half
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 can evaporated milk
Mix fruit, sugar and lemon juice and let chill up to 3 hrs.
When ready to make ice cream, place fruit mixture in container and add remaining ingredients. Stir and assemble ice cream maker. Plug ice cream maker in. While it is turning alternate layers of ice and salt (2 inch ice, 1 inch salt) until level with top of ice cream container. Let it mix and listen for when it stops immediately unplug. Aprox 20 min.
